Helen S. Edgar

Helen S. Edgar, age 84 years, of Amherst, VA, died on Monday, July 4, 2011, in Virginia Baptist Hospital Hospice, Lynchburg, VA.

Born in Union City, NJ, September 22, 1926, she was the daughter of the late William and Justine Willums Kemly.

She had formerly resided in Raritan Township, NJ for over thirty years.

She was a homemaker.

Her husband, Alexander Edgar died in 1986. Surviving are two daughters, Linda Pyskaty of Secaucus, NJ, and Wendy Goska of Amherst, VA; a son, Timothy Edgar of Flemington, NJ; two sisters, Joyce Gymbagno of Palm City, FL and Eileen LaBianco of Secaucus, NJ; a brother, James Kemly, of Baptistown, NJ; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 8 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 2-4 and 7-8 PM in the funeral home.
