Helen S. Hoppe

Helen S. Hoppe, age 75 years, of Doylestown, PA., died Sunday, December 7, 2014, at her home. Born in Flemington, NJ, December 15, 1938, daughter of the late Samuel and Carrie Miller Whitehead, she resided in Flemington for many years and had resided in Doylestown for thirty years. Helen was formerly a bus aide with the Central Bucks School District. She was pre-deceased by a sister, Irene Tinnes. Surviving are two daughters, Susan Meyers of Doylestown, PA. and Dolores Ericksen of Levittown, PA.; a granddaughter, Shannon Hoppe; a great grandchild, Justin Swartz; two brothers, Stanley Whitehead of Oxford, NJ, and Ronald Whitehead of Frenchtown, NJ; and six sisters, Edna Hill and Katsy Beatty, both of Flemington, NJ, Mabel Bennett of Phillipsburg, NJ, Doris Gottschall of Quakertown, PA., Alice Emery of Ringoes, NJ and Betty Tubiello of Revere, PA. Private funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 10, 2014, at 11:00AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ.
