Helen Schrimpe

Helen Schrimpe, age 79 years, of Lebanon Township, NJ, died on Saturday, May 12, 2007 at her residence.

Born in New York City, NY, March 28, 1928, daughter of the late Emil and Joanne Kempf Unorski, she had resided in Lebanon Township the past seven years, having previously lived in Raritan Township, NJ.

Mrs. Schrimpe, along with her late husband Wilbert J. Schrimpe, was the Owner and Operator of the New Hampton Inn, Hampton, NJ for over thiry years. Prior to that, she was a Supervisor for United Telephone Company, Clinton and Flemington, NJ.

Mrs. Schrimpe was an avid reader, card player and enjoyed traveling to Atlantic City, NJ. She was also fond of solving puzzles and gardening.

Her husband, Wilbert J. Schrimpe, died in 1994.

Surviving are a son, W. Michael Schrimpe of Raritan Township, NJ; a daughter Andrea Munley of Flemington, NJ; two brothers, Walter and John Unorski, both of Pittstown, NJ; three grandchildren; one great grandchild; and her faithful companion, Willow.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery, Quakertown, NJ.
