Helen Vlahakis

Helen Vlahakis, age 101 years, of Palm Harbor, FL, died on Saturday, October 29, 2005.

She was born in Laconia, Greece, and had formerly resided in Hunterdon County, NJ.

She and her husband operated luncheonettes and confectionary stores in Flemington, Clinton, and Whitehouse Station, NJ.

She is survived by two daughters; Maria V. Pappas, of Palm Harbor, FL, and Irene V. Hindle of Flemington, NJ; two sons, Peter Vlahakis of Ringoes, NJ, and James Vlahakis of Palm Harbor, FL; nine grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 11 AM in the Greek Orthodox Parish of Hunterdon County, 670 Route 12 West, Croton, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 7-9 PM in the funeral home.
