Henry C. Schindler, formerly of East Brunswick, New Jersey died on Wednesday, September 11, 2013, after fighting a short, but valiant battle with cancer.

Born in Germany on November 4, 1933, Henry was the son of the late Fred and Minnie Schindler. Henry immigrated to New York in 1944. Henry was a life-time learner, with numerous advanced degrees, and the author of multiple technical patents. Henry was a physicist at RCA Sarnoff Labs, and Bell Laboratories.

Despite his many academic achievements, his greatest joy was his beloved family. He is survived by his wife, Judith, of 56 years, with whom he had an eternal friendship and love. They enjoyed traveling the globe together, and spending time with their family.

He is survived by his daughter, Carrie Hydro, his son, Scott Schindler, daughter-in-law, Joyce Schindler, as well as four adored grandchildren: Robert and Corey Hydro, and Craig and Dana Schindler. He is also survived by Marsha and Marvin Kramer, his brother-in-law and sister-in law, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Henry was a former member of East Brunswick Jewish Center.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, September 15, 2013 at 11:15 AM at Cedar Park Cemetery in Paramus, New Jersey under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
