Henry Potopowitz

Henry Potopowitz, age 72 years, of Lambertville, NJ, died on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Care One, Ewing, NJ.

Born in Phillipsburg, NJ, December 7, 1941, he was the son of the late Henry and Catherine Valentine Potopowitz. He had formerly resided in Glen Gardner, NJ, moving to lambertville twenty-five years ago.

He was a Freemason, member of Carpenters Local 254, Civil Air Patrol, and the National Rifle Association.

He was a United States Army veteran.

Surviving are his wife of thirteen years, Dorothy Kessler Potopowitz; a son, Brian Potopowitz, of Clarks Summit, PA; a daughter, Karen Hart, of Normal, IL; his step-children, Andrew Tirpok III of Flemington, NJ and Mary Tirpok of East Hardwick, VT, a brother, William Potopowitz, of Annandale, NJ; a sister, Anna McArthur, of Kingston, TX; and four step-grandchildren: Liberty Tirpok, Cheyenne Tirpok, and Noah and Jacob Haveson.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at 2 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Cherryville Cemetery, Cherryville, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 from 6-8 PM in the funeral home.
