Herbert Edward Kent

Herbert Edward Kent, age 92 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at his residence.

Born in East Orange, NJ, September 8, 1923, he was the son of the late Harry and Emma Yaeger Kent. He had formerly resided in Wilmington, NC and Mendham, NJ.

Mr. Kent was a retired self-employed Metallurgical Engineer.

He was a United States Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.

Surviving are his wife of seventy years, Ruth Alice Bussey Kent; two daughters, Bonnie MacArthur of Evansville, IN and Joyce Lawrence of Milford, NJ; two sons, Thomas Kent of Oceanport, NJ and Ron Kent of Pueblo, CO; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services and interment will be private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
