Hilda Elizabeth Kirchner

Hilda Kirchner, age 86 years, of Flemington, NJ, died on Saturday, July 27, 2013, in Bridgeway Care Center, Bridgewater, NJ.

Born in Montgomery Township, NJ, November 28, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Elizabeth Frank Russell.

She was a retired housekeeper, having worked for Foothill Acres Nursing Home, Rolling Hills Care Center, and the Hunterdon Medical Center before retiring.

Her husband, Lewis Kirchner, died in 1996. A daughter, Carol Chiesa, died in 2007, and a brother, Wallace Russell, died in 2012.

Surviving are a daughter, Shirley Testa, of Flemington, NJ; a son, David Kirchner, of Cooksville, TN; a brother, Robert Russell, of Flemington, NJ; two sisters, Esther McRade of Long Branch, NJ, and Helen Kosch in New Hampshire; nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Lower Amwell Cemetery, Delaware Township, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 7-9 PM in the funeral home.
