Hilda V. Vogel

Hilda V. Vogel, age 93 years, of Flemington, NJ, died Thursday, April 15, 2004 at her reisdence.

Born in Wertsville, NJ, December 8, 1910 to the late Jonathan and Helena Drake Voorhees, she had resided in Flemington for over 65 years.

For many years she was office manager for Hylan Oil Company, Flemington, NJ until her retirement. She was a member of the Flemington Presbyterian Church, where she formerly served as church Treasurer for many years.

Her husband, Carl G. Vogel, died in 1980. Surviving are three sons, Carl of Maui, Hawaii, David of Milford, MA, and Jonathan of Oceanport, NJ; two sisters, Caroline Polhemus of Flemington, NJ and Lena Fenwick of Port Treverton, PA; six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Capner Street, Flemington, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. There will be no calling hours. Please visit www.holcombefisher.com for further information.
