Howard W. Herring

Howard W. Herring, age 73 years, of Ringoes, NJ, died Sunday, January 7, 2024, at Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation, Chester, NJ.

Born in Raritan Township, NJ, March 6, 1950, son of the late Charles and Ida Melick Herring, he had resided in Hunterdon County all his life.

Howard was a 1968 graduate of Hunterdon Central Regional High School, Flemington, NJ and was an appliance and television repair technician for many years with Burkett Bros. GE Store, Flemington, NJ.

In his spare time, he was a lover of antique radios and repairing them.

In addition to his parents, Howard was also predeceased by his sister, the late Nancy J. Gallo.

Howard is survived by his two nieces Carin Monk of Noblesville, IN and Michelle Gallo of Winter Springs, FL; as well as extended family.

All arrangements are private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ 08822. Memorial services will be set for a future date and time to be determined.
