Ida E. Saums

Ida E. Saums, age 90 years, of the Centerville section of Readington Township, NJ, died on Saturday, July 30, 2016 in Robert Wood Johnson Hospital-Somerset, Somerville, NJ.

Born on July 13, 1926, she was the daughter of the late James and Florence Bacorn Allen. She lived most of her life in North Branch, NJ.

She worked for many years as a secretary with her late husband at the Neshanic Electric Company.

Her husband of sixty years, Elmer Saums, died in 2006. Surviving are a son, Robert L. Saums of Elkins, WV; two daughters, Janice L. Delesky of Mount Jackson, VA, and Sharon A. Brocklehurst of Readington Township, NJ; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at 2 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Neshanic Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 1-2 pm in the funeral home.
