Ida Oster

Ida Oster, age 97 years, of Muncie, IN, formerly of Hunterdon County, NJ, died on Saturday, July 19, 2014 in Muncie, Indiana.

Born in Bremen, Germany, July 23, 1916, daughter of the late Alfred and Rinelde Kullmer, she emigrated to the United States as a child.

She was a farm wife and homemaker in the Three Bridges area before retiring and moving to Muncie in 1987.

Ida leaves behind her to cherish her memory, her daughter, Diana Godish of Muncie, IN.; seven grandchildren, Larissa Dugas (husband, John) of Kalamazoo, MI, Mark Godish (wife, Laura) of Edmond, OK, Brian Oster (friend, Heather Schultz) of East Stroudsburg, PA., Brett Oster (wife, Jennifer) of Wakefield, RI, Nicole Oster of Gibbstown, NJ, Lillian Wiley (husband, David) of Woodstown, NJ and Walter Oster, Jr. (wife, Treva) of Paulsboro, NJ; twelve great grandchildren; a great-great granddaughter; two daughters-in-law, Irma Oster of Chippewa Falls, WI and Betty Oster of New Brunswick, NJ; and many nieces and nephews.

She was pre-deceased by her husband, Jacob Oster, who died in 1972; two sons, Roger and Walter Oster; her siblings, John Kullmer and Lena McCarthy; her son-in-law, Thad Godish; and a granddaughter, Leta Godish.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at 1:30 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Three Bridges Cemetery, Three Bridges, NJ.
