Ida Torok

Ida Torok, age 95 years, of Alexandria Township, NJ, died Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ. Born September 3, 1923, in Manhattan NY, she was the daughter of the late Emil and Bertha Badke Schmidt. Ida worked at Ethicon, Inc. where she manufactured suture needles and ligature for the health care industry. She was a Red Cross blood donor donating many times when she worked at Ethicon. She was predeceased by her husband, Andrew Torok in 2003, and a sister Helen Schmidt. Surviving are her three children, Ronald L. Torok of Pittstown, NJ, Bob Torok of Upper Black Eddy, PA, and Sandra C. Harrington of Greer, SC, and one brother Arthur Schmidt of Clinton, NJ, as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Cremation services will be private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
