Ilene Lois Case

Ilene Lois Case, age 93, died, Monday, January 19, 2015, at Hunterdon Care Center in Raritan Township, NJ. Born January 13, 1922, in Hornell, NY, Ilene was the daughter of the late Crowley and Lola Arlene (Norton) Zeliff. She was a graduate of Rider College and worked as a secretary for the US Army Depot in Hillsborough, NJ, during World War II. Ilene was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Raritan Township Fire Company and in later years, she spent much time knitting afghans, many of which were donated to those in need. Ilene was predeceased in 2012 by her husband of sixty-seven years, Frank L. Case, by her son, Roger Case, and by two sisters and two brothers. She is survived by her son, Frank Lee Case of Frenchtown NJ, two grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ 08822. Interment will follow in Three Bridges Cemetery, Three Bridges, NJ. Calling hour will be prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m., Thursday, at the funeral home.
