Ilona Lelkes

Ilona Lelkes, age 78 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Monday, January 12, 2009 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Hungary, April 5, 1930, she had resided in Raritan Township for the past three years, having formerly resided in Franklin Township, Somerset County, NJ and Hungary.

A Homemaker, her husband, Zoltan Lelkes, died in 1998.

Surviving are two daughters, Livia Lelkes and Jolan Lyons and her husband Stephen, both of Raritan Township, NJ; two sons, Lajos Lelkes and his wife Antra of Raritan Township, NJ and Zoltan Lelkes in Hungary; and five grandchildren, Natalia Lyons, Katalin Lyons, Andris Lelkes and his wife, Michaela, Lita Lelkes and Valdis Lelkes.

Services were held Wednesday in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Hungary.
