Inez M. Gass

Inez M. Gass, age 97 years, of Readington Township, NJ, died on Saturday, January 28, 2006 at her residence.

Born in Newark, NJ, September 14, 1908, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Mae Cuenin. Mrs. Gass formerly resided in Newark, NJ before retiring to Readington Township, NJ many years ago.

She was a homemaker who was devoted to her loved ones and was a Communicant of Immaculate Conception Church, Annandale, NJ.

Her husbad of sixty-three years, former Newark Police Lieutenant Frank C. Gass, died in 1993 and a son, Frank J. Gass, died in 2004.

Surviving are three daughters, Marie Courtney of Elizabeth, NJ, Jeanne Scheier of Raritan Township, NJ and Carol Leick of Mountainside, NJ; a son, James of Readington Township, NJ; eighteen grandchildren; and thirty-seven great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church, Annandale, NJ, Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
