Irene Cecile Jaskot, age 86 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Monday, July 11, 2011 at Independence Manor, Raritan Township, NJ where she had resided since 2009, having formerly lived many years in Irvington, NJ.
Born in Eynon, PA, September 7, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Wladislaus and Katryna Sobolewski Yeselavige.
A former Hairdresser, she was also formerly a Margin Clerk for Reynolds Securities, New York City, NY. Mrs. Jaskot was a longtime communicant of St. Leo’s Church, Irvington, NJ and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post #16, Irvington, NJ, where she served as Poppy Chairperson for many years.
Her husband, Edward F. Jaskot, died in 1985.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Ted and Phyllis Jaskot of Charlotte, NC; a daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and James D’Aloia of Delaware Township, NJ; and three grandchildren, James and Christopher D’Aloia and Kyle Jaskot.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ. Visitation will be Thursday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. in the Funeral Home.
