Irene H. Moore

Irene H. Moore, age 93 years, of Flemington, NJ, died Saturday, October 27, 2012, in Hunterdon Hills Assisted Living Residence, Lebanon Township, NJ.

Born in Flemington, NJ, October 26, 1919, daughter of the late Michael and Rose Gerba Harwick, she formerly resided in High Bridge, NJ and also in Clinton, NJ, before returning to reside in Flemington thirty years ago.

A 1937 graduate of Flemington High School, she was formerly a telephone operator for N.J. Telephone Company, Clinton, NJ. She was also an avid golfer.

Her husband, Robert Moore, died in 1979.

Surviving are two nephews and two nieces.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, November 1, 2012, at 1:00 PM in Lower Valley Cemetery, Califon, NJ, under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. There will be no calling hours.
