Isabel A. Danco

Isabel A. Danco, age 87 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Friday, September 28, 2007 at Independence Manor, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Istanbul, Turkey, December 7, 1919, she had formerly resided in Roselle Park, NJ, Summit, NJ and Leasure Knoll in Manchester Township, NJ. Additionally, she and her husband spent their winters in Vero Beach, FL.

She was employed at Hyatt Bearings Division of General Motors as a Private Secretary from October 1939 through October 1943 where she met her husband, George J. Danco. They were married on May 23, 1943 and were married for forty-seven years till his death in 1990.

Her family was always important to her and they took priority. She had many hobbies, but particulary enjoyed playing bridge and bowling. She was also a phenomenal cook, a trait that was very much enjoyed by her devoted family.

Surviving are three loving sons and two daughters-in-law, Michael M. and Patricia Danco of Franklin Township, Hunterdon County, NJ, George J. Danco of Florham Park, NJ and Dr. Jeffrey C. and Jayne Danco of Bridgewater, NJ; five grandchildren, Michael C., Joshua, Jessica, James and Kevin; two great-grandchildren, Jeremy and Sean; two sisters, Mary Haigazian of Martha's Vineyard and Anne Zdyrski of Manchester Township, NJ; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Interment will be private. Please visit www.holcombefisher.com for further information or to send condolences.
