Isabel Defazio

Isabel DeFazio, age 78 years, of West Amwell Township, NJ, died on Wednesday, September 21, 2005, in the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Bonita Springs, South Dakota, February 27, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Emma Tholson Postlewait.

An X-Ray Technician, she was trained at the University of Chicago, and she was employed at the Hunterdon Developmental Center, Clinton, NJ. She retired in 1989.

She was a member of Old Rocks Church, West Amwell Township, NJ.

Her husband, Joseph DeFazio, died in 1979. Surviving are a daughter, Wilma Wilt of East Amwell Township, NJ; two sons, Joseph DeFazio III of Levittown, PA, and Frank DeFazio of West Amwell Township, NJ; four sisters, Margaret Harwood of Sturgis, SD, Helen Curtis of Fremont, CA, Esther Isman of Crawfordville, FL, and Mary Topinka of Gillette, WY; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 AM in Old Rocks Church, Mt. Airy-Harbourton Road, West Amwell Township, NJ. Interment will be in Old Rocks Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 7-9 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
