Born in Port Colden, NJ on August 1, 1899, he was the son of the late Simon Tietsworth and Catherine Mowder.

Mr. Tietsworth was survived by his wife, Mary (Moerschell) Tietsworth.

Interment in Amwell Methodist Church Cemetery.
