James A. Allegar

James A. Allegar, age 64 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died Friday, February 2, 2007, in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Somerville, NJ, December 9, 1942, he was the son of the late Norman and Kathryn Dilts Allegar. He was a lifelong resident of Hunterdon County, NJ.

He was employed by Shop-Rite, Flemington, NJ on their custodial staff.

He was a 1961 graduate of Hunterdon Central High School, Flemington, NJ, and was a member of the Three Bridges Reformed Church, Three Bridges, NJ.

He is survived by two sisters, Emma Drenkhahn of Three Bridges, NJ, and Doris Halstead of Clover Hill, NJ; a brother, Charles Allegar of Clover Hill, NJ; two nieces and two nephews.

Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM in the Three Bridges Cemetery, Three Bridges, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. There will be no calling hours.
