James A. "Jimmy" De Steno, age 55 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Thursday, October 14, 2010 at his home.
Born in Hoboken, NJ, September 10, 1955, son of the late James V. and Sarah Maccangnano De Steno, he was raised in Union City, NJ, then lived for over twenty years in Carteret, NJ before moving to Raritan Township two years ago.
He was formerly a shipping clerk in West Paterson, NJ for many years.
Surviving are two sisters, Rosalie De Steno of Raritan Township, NJ and Laura Terranova of Venice, FL; two nephews, Christopher and Nicholas Terranova; his devoted friend, Ken Fischer; several aunts and uncles; and many cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Summer Road, Three Bridges, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Ridge Road, North Arlington, NJ. Calling hours will be Monday from 3:00-7:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home.
