James A. Vitelli, Sr.

James A. Vitelli, Sr., age 81 years, of Stockton, NJ, died Friday, September 9, 2022, at Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown, NJ.

Born in North Plainfield, NJ, March 22, 1941, son of the late Anthony and Rose Semma Vitelli, Jim had formerly resided in North Plainfield, NJ, Ringoes, NJ and Flemington, NJ before moving to the Stockton area over thirty years ago.

A graduate of North Plainfield High School, he was a sales representative for Flemington Electric for many years and recently with Hesco Lighting, Annandale, NJ.

Jim loved to play cards and was an avid golfer.

Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, James A. and Lesley Vitelli of Doylestown, PA; a daughter and son-in-law, Lisa Vitelli Rush and Stephen Rush of Hampton, NJ; a sister, Ann Marie Vitelli of Stockton, NJ; four grandchildren, Ashley McIntosh, Brittany Kemack, Nicholas Vitelli and Gabriella Vitelli; and two great grandchildren, Lillian Mcintosh and Axton McIntosh.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Victories Church, Baptistown, NJ. Interment will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery, South Plainfield, NJ. Calling hours will be Monday 6:00 PM-9:00 PM at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
