James Edward Hamm, Jr.

James Edward Hamm, Jr., age 84 years, of Clinton, NJ, died Wednesday, April 29, 2020. Born in Pittsburgh, PA., December 4, 1935, son of the late James Edward Hamm, Sr. and Edna Mae Scott Hamm, he had resided in Clinton for the past year and had formerly resided most of his life in Maryland, most recently in Centreville, Maryland. He was a transportation engineer for Orion Enterprises, Alexandria, VA and later was employed by the Institute for Defense Analytics, Alexandria, VA. He was pre-deceased by a brother, William Hamm. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy June Barnes Hamm; two sons and daughters-in-law, James and Wendy Hamm and John and Clare Hamm; two daughters and a son-in-law, Catherine Hamm and Christopher Shilts and Patrice Hamm; a brother, Thomas Hamm and his wife, Dorothy; and six grandchildren, James Wiley Hamm, Christina Haurie and her husband, Jason, Madeleine Shilts, Joseph Shilts, Carson Shilts and Sydney Shilts.
