James Keith Rowland

James Keith Rowland, age 48 years, of Lower Makefield Township, PA, died on Sunday, May 22, 2011.

Born in Elizabeth, NJ, son of Patricia Powers Rowland of Flemington, NJ and the late Joseph W. Rowland, he had resided in Lower Makefield Township for twelve years, having formerly lived in Collingswood, NJ and Monmouth County, NJ.

He was a self-employed musician, songwriter and was also currently serving as a Music teacher at the Solebury School. Mr. Rowland had formerly taught English at Collingswood High School and Hopewell Valley High School.

Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his wife, Mimi MacNichol Rowland; a brother, Christopher Rowland of Flemington, NJ; and an aunt, Elizabeth Franck of Three Bridges, NJ.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in St. Magdalen Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home.
