James Nicholas Schettino, age 57 years, of Clinton Township, NJ, died on Friday, April 18, 2014 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born in West New York, NJ, February 24, 1957, son of the late James and Lucy Curcio Schettino, he had resided in the area for the past 29 years, having formerly resided in West New York, NJ.
For over twenty-five years, he, along with his wife Eileen, owned and operated Out of Hand Stained Glass, Lebanon, NJ. He then went on to become a driver for MCM Mech. Corp., Fairfield, NJ.
James attended the Church of the Holy Spirit in Lebanon, NJ and was an avid gardener along with enjoying anything to do with the outdoors. He was very involved with Boy Scout Troop #288, Annandale, NJ and was himself an Eagle Scout.
Surviving are his cherished wife of thirty years, Eileen Abate Schettino; his loving children, Matt Schettino of Mt. Laurel, NJ and Brittany Schettino of Clinton Township, NJ; his special second daughter, Cherylin Tiefel of Mt. Laurel, NJ; and many dear friends.
Funeral Services will take place Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Church of the Holy Spirit, 3 Haytown Road, Lebanon, NJ 08833 under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private. Calling hours will be Tuesday, April 22, 2014 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. in the funeral home and again on Wednesday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. in the Church.
