James R. O'Donnell, age 74 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Tuesday, March 6, 2007, in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born in Staten Island, NY, July 9, 1932, he was the son of the late William and Kathleen Donovan O'Donnell.
He was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.
He was a retired Supervising Engineer with AT&T, Bedminster, NJ.
He was pre-deceased by a brother, William O'Donnell, and a sister, Kathleen Hueston.
He is survived by his wife of forty-nine years, Joan Barrett O'Donnell; two sons, Daniel O'Donnell of Chatham, NJ, and James F. O'Donnell of Flemington, NJ; a daughter, Kathleen O'Donnell-Rokicki; a sister, Margaret Mary Carlson of West Plains, MO; a brother, Albert O'Donnell of Arlington Heights, IL; and four grandchildren.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2007, at 10 AM in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ, under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private. There will be no calling hours.
