James V. Martin

James V. Martin, age 87 years, of Delaware Township, NJ, died Saturday, March 7, 2015, in Attleboro Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Langhorne, PA.

Born in New York City, February 14, 1928, son of the late Thomas and Frances Farley Martin, he had resided most of his life in New York City. He was a graduate of the Merchant Marine Academy, Kings Point, NY, and was a Chief Engineer with the US Merchant Marine until retiring.

He served in the US Army during the Korean War.

Surviving are a sister-in-law, Pauline Martin of Doylestown, PA; four nieces and five nephews.

Arrangements with graveside services in Calvary Cemetery, Queens, NY, will be announced by Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
