James William Boxmeyer, of Flemington, NJ, formerly of Lake Hiawatha, NJ died following a brief illness surrounded by his loving family and friends on July 27, 2013.

As the Director of Cyber Intelligence and Incident Response for AT&T, Jim lead the AT&T Cyber Intelligence, Advanced Security Research, and Tier 3 Incident Response team of senior security experts who gather, correlate, and analyze cyber intelligence related to cyber-attacks. This team also acts as the tier 3 subject matter experts for critical incident response events for AT&T, commercial customers, and government agencies.

Jim attended Sussex County schools and later earned a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology specializing in Information Security from the University of Phoenix. Through the course of his 21 year career at AT&T he was awarded several technology patents related to his work.

Jim was the devoted and loving son of Frances and Jeffry Raynes of Flemington, NJ and William ‘David’ and Connie Boxmeyer of Beaufort, NC, and devoted brother to David Michael Boxmeyer and his wife Kate and extra special uncle to William, Abigail, and Owen Boxmeyer of Medfield, MA; his sister Barbara and Michael Williams and nephews John Michael and Alex; and his brother William David Boxmeyer, Jr. all of Southern Shores, NC.

Jim was sustained through his illness by his family and friends who will dearly miss him and who know that they are forever blessed for his presence in their lives.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated in St. Timothy’s Church, 650 Nichols St., Norwood, MA on Friday morning, August 2nd at 10 am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private.
