Jane A. Worthington

Jane A. Worthington, age 90 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Sunday, March 27, 2011 at Country Arch Care Center, Union Township, NJ.

Born in Plainfield, NJ, May 24, 1920, she had formerly resided in North Plainfield, NJ, then in Middlesex, NJ for thirty years prior to moving to Raritan Township in 2007.

She worked as a Blueprint Reader and Assembler for Lockheed Electronics, Watchung, NJ until retiring.

Her husband Walton R. (Ronnie) Worthington died in 1965.

Surviving are a daughter, Arlene Donovan of Raritan Township, NJ; two sons, Gary Worthington of Flemington, NJ and Glenn Worthington of Jonesboro, TN; a sister, Helen Happel of Pittstown, NJ; three grandchildren, Tara Portela and her husband Troy, Glenn Worthington, Jr., and Denise Holland; and four great grandchildren, Courtney and Devin Worthington, Alexander Portela and Evan Holland.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. in Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Please visit www.holcombefisher.com for further information or to send condolences.
