Jane “Jaime” E. Schultz, age 60 years, of Franklin Township, Hunterdon County, NJ passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Brooklyn, NY on February 21, 1961, she was the daughter of the late James and Isabelle Horan Gendron. She grew up in the Sheepshead Bay neighborhood of Brooklyn before moving to Hunterdon County, NJ at the age of sixteen. She had lived here for the last forty-four years.
After graduating high school, Jaime worked in the finance industry for forty years.
She was an avid volunteer, life-time softball player, and lover of animals. In addition, she was a wonderful and reliable friend because you could always count on her for anything. Finally, she enjoyed crafting, cooking, and baking, especially with her family and grandchildren. Her family remembers her as “the strongest person they ever knew.”
Surviving are her three children, Leigh Schottman and her husband Carl, of Hellertown, PA, Melissa Sohn and her husband Brian Spargo, of Jamestown, NY and Katelyn Schultz and her boyfriend Corey Myers, of Frenchtown, NJ; four grandchildren, Madilyn Schottman, Lacey Schottman, Helen Spargo, and Isabelle Spargo; her siblings, Debra Pompilio, of Alpharetta, GA and Susan and Michael O’Connell, of Downingtown, PA; as well as her best-friend and companion, Dottie A. Bodine, of Pittstown, NJ.
Private cremation services and arrangements are under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. A private family gathering will take place next year in her memory.
