Janet B. Entwisle

Janet B. Entwisle, age 69 years, of Flemington, NJ, died Friday, March 16, 2018, at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Johnson City, NY, July 31, 1948, daughter of the late Michael and Florence Winters Baran, she had formerly resided in Syracuse, NY, then in Cary, IL., for four years before moving to the Flemington area in 1998.

Janet was a passionate educator who received her BA and MA degrees from Fredonia University. She was a teacher in the Lawrence Township school system and was also a Reading Recovery Specialist and Teacher Trainer.

Surviving are her husband of thirty-nine years, Patrick Entwisle; a son Jonathan Entwisle of Quartzsite, AZ; a daughter, Rachel Barnes of Phillipsburg, NJ; a brother, Michael Baran, Jr. of Binghamton, NY and three sisters, Michele Dinniny of Harpursville, NY, Michalin Chang of Santa Barbara, CA. and Denise Kissacki of Binghamton, NY.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 24, 2018, at 2:00 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private.
