Janet Cowan

Janet Cowan, age 56 years, of Woodland Park, NJ, died on Thursday, December 8, 2011 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Paterson, NJ, June 22, 1955, daughter of the late Henry and Mable Cook Cowen, she had resided in the Paterson area all of her life.

A graduate of Montclair State College, she was currently serving as Vice-President of Client Services for Ricklin-Echikson Associates, Millburn, NJ.

She was a communicant of St. Bonaventure Church, Paterson, NJ and was currently attending St. Magdalen Church, Flemington, NJ.

Surviving are an aunt, Jean Krill of Blakeslee, PA; and five cousins, Karen Perkowski, Kenneth Krill, Cherie Canning, Vincent Krill and Sandra Breslin.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in St. Magdalen Cemetery, North Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be Sunday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home.
