Janet F. Fenwick, age 57 years, died Thursday, September 7, 2017 at her home in Hillsborough Township NJ.
Born April 24, 1960, in Somerville NJ, Janet was the daughter of the late Frank and Martha (Zelehoski) McMullen. She lived in Somerset County all of her life.
Janet received an Associates Degree in Restaurant Management from Raritan Valley Community College and worked as the Manager of the Valley Bistro, located within the Capital Health Systems-Hopewell Campus hospital. She was a Member and Officer of the Kimberwyck II Board of Trustees in Hillsborough for many years.
Janet loved to read, especially mystery novels, as well as tending to her flower and vegetable garden. She loved to feed the birds around the outside of her home and was a friend to all animals, however, most of all, she loved spending time with her children and family.
In addition to her parents, Janet was predeceased by her step-father, Alfred Roth, in 2013, as well as her husband, George E. Fenwick, Jr., in 2007. She is survived by her son, George E. Fenwick III, her daughter, Erin M. Fenwick, both of Hillsborough, and her two sisters and brothers-in-law, Irene & Gary Taylor, and Lisa & John Fenwick.
Funeral services for Janet will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington NJ. Interment will follow in Neshanic Cemetery in Neshanic NJ. Visitation for friends and family will be on Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
