Jarrett R. Hunt

Jarrett R. Hunt of Kingwood Township, NJ passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at his home. He was 87 years old. Born in Trenton, NJ he and his wife moved to Kingwood in 1959. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 51 years Joan Watkin Hunt, a son Derrick C. Hunt and a brother Charles F. Hunt, Jr. He is survived by an extended family: Linda Driver and Geraldine Hawks of Pennington, Candace McAlinden of Ewing, Joanne Glover, Janet Ferguson, James Greschak all of Princeton Junction, Joe Mooney of Ewing Twp., and Pamela Small Hawks and Bruce Hawks of New York State. He served in the United State Army and retired from the New Jersey Department of Transportation.He attended Rutgers University, Michigan State University, and received a Bachelor’s degree from Rider University. He was a longtime member of the Kingwood United Methodist Church. A Memorial Service will be held at the Kingwood United Methodist Church on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 11 AM. Inurnment in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton, NJ will be private under the direction of Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
