Jean E. Ziegenfuss

Jean Elaine Ziegenfuss, age 83 years, of Ringoes, NJ, died on Sunday, October 3, 2010, at her home.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, April 26, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Roland and Marion Stout Harkins of Lambertville, NJ.

She was a homemaker, and had resided in Ringoes for thirty years. She had previously resided in Titusville, NJ.

Jean was an avid antique collector who lovingly restored her home "The Queen of the Valley", in Ringoes. She was a lover of animals. She also enjoyed visiting local restaurants and spending time with her grandchildren.

Her husband, Robert F. Ziegenfuss, a well driller, died in 1995. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Virginia Ziegenfuss, of Ringoes, NJ; a daughter, Lynn Ziegenfuss of Alburtus, PA; and her grandchildren: Jennifer Ziegenfuss Creveling, and her husband James, of Glen Gardner, NJ, Kelly Ziegenfuss of Westfield, NJ and Alexandra, Portia, Mathew, and Daniel Adamson all of Alburtus, PA.

Funeral services and interment in Union Cemetery, Ringoes, NJ, will be private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. There will be no calling hours.
