Jeanette Bishop

Jeanette Bishop, age 92 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Sunday, July 29, 2012 in the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Glancy, MS, June 23, 1920, she was the daughter of the late John and Lora Jones Noble.

She was a retired kindergarten teacher.

Her husband of sixty-two years, Frank Ruben Bishop, Jr., died in 2005.

Surviving are two daughters, Brenda Poston of Flemington, NJ, and Donna Barringer of Flemington, NJ; a son, Frank R. Bishop III, of Alamargordo, NM; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and her siblings: Jean Phillips of Brookhaven, MS, Miriam "Mim" Auter of Hattiesburg, MS, and Hugh "Hooty" Noble of Columbia, SC.

Graveside services and interment in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ, will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. There will be no calling hours.
