Jeanette R. Miele Toumey

Jeanette R. Miele Toumey, age 92 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at her home.

Born in Ozone Park, NY, February 18, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Ruth Gehr Jonason.

An avid animal lover, Jeanette was a homemaker spending her time taking care of her family, friends and numerous dogs and cats. She always had an open heart and open door for people (and animals) in need.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Pasquale Miele in 1984 and her second husband, Russell J. Toumey in 2016, and one brother Charles Jonason.

Surviving are her son James Miele and his wife, Kathleen, and one daughter Johanna Miele and her husband, James Linden, Sr. of Raritan Township, NJ; two grandchildren, James Linden, Jr. and Mary Linden.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Friday, July 26, 2019 at 2:00 PM in Calverton National Cemetery, 210 Princeton Boulevard, Calverton, NY under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be held Friday, July 26, 2019, from 9:00-10:00 AM in the funeral home.
