Jeanne M. Case, age 79 years, of Hillsborough Township, NJ died on Friday, November 17, 2006 at her residence.
Born in Bound Brook, NJ, July 5, 1927, daughter of the late John and Margaret Kovacs Daniels, she had formerly resided in Bridgewater, NJ, Richmond, VA and Easton, PA before moving to Hillsborough ten years ago.
A Cost Accountant, she was formerly employed by Johns-Manville Corp., Manville, NJ, then was a Teacher and was later employed by Ortho-McNeil Pharmaceuticals, Raritan, NJ until retiring.
A graduate of of Lake Forest College in Illinois, she was a longtime active member of the Sweet Adelines where she held several leadership posts and also was a former member of a ladies barbershop quartet. Additionally, she was a former member of Third Reformed Church, Raritan, NJ where she taught Sunday School and sang in the choir.
Surviving are a daughter, Marilou Case of Flemington, NJ and a son, Michael Case of Bridgewater, NJ.
Memorial Services will be held Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private and there are no calling hours. Please visit www.holcombefisher.com for further information or to send condolences.
