Jeannette C. Desimone

Jeannette C. DeSimone, age 82 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died Wednesday, November 23, 2022, in Lewes, DE.

Born in Elizabeth, NJ, December 21, 1939, daughter of the late Giovanni and Christina Mercurio Morielli, she had formerly resided in Colonia, NJ.

A homemaker, Jeannette spent her free time volunteering at Hunterdon Medical Center lobby shop. She was an avid card player and especially enjoyed playing Liverpool with friends.

She is pre-deceased by her husband Joseph R. DeSimone in 2015.

Surviving are her two daughters, Dana DeSimone-Uresse of Tenafly, NJ and Debra Patterson of Lewes, DE; four grandchildren, Liam Patterson, Cassidy Patterson, Stella Uresse and Sydney Uresse; one sister Dolores McMullen of Littleton, CO; two nephews, Robert McMullen and Jason McMullen; her two godchildren, Judianne Dileo and Colleen Liddy-Lapadura and many loving friends.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at 10:30 AM in the St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ, under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Entombment will follow in St. Gertrude’s Mausoleum, Colonia, NJ. Calling hours will be held Monday, December 5, 2022, from 6:00-8:00 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions in Jeannette’s name may be made to Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center, 2100 Wescott Drive, Flemington, NJ 08822.
