Jeffrey S. Vuyk

Jeffrey S. Vuyk, age 45 years, of Readington Township, NJ, died on Wednesday, December 5, 2007 in Raritan Township, NJ, after a year long battle with cancer.

Born in Plainfield, NJ, March 14, 1962, he was the son of June Ryno Vuyk of Readington Township, NJ, and the late Cornelius A. Vuyk. He was a resident of Readington Township for twenty-nine years.

He was a former maintenance worker with AT&T, Morristown, NJ.

A model train enthusiast, he was a member of the Toy Train Collectors Association, Strasburg, PA, and the National Carousel Association. He enjoyed and was an avid collector of big band music, theatre pipe organ music, band organ music, and Civil War music. Mr. Vuyk was also a former cadet with the Whitehouse Rescue Squad.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Locust Grove Cemetery, Quakertown, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 10-11 AM in the funeral home.
