Jennie "Jane" C. O'Brien

Jennie "Jane" C. O'Brien, age 83 years, of Readington Township, NJ, died on Sunday, November 30, 2008, in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Clover Hill, NJ, March 3, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Ethel Wyckoff Polhemus. She had resided in Readington Township for thirty-seven years, previously residing in North Branch, NJ.

She was a chemist assistant with Union Carbide, Bound Brook, NJ, and then an administrative assistant with Art Color, Dunellen, NJ.

Her husband, Duncan O'Brien, died in 2001. Surviving is a daughter, Karen O'Brien, of Readington Township, NJ.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2 PM in the Clover Hill Reformed Church, Amwell Road, Clover Hill, NJ, under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Clover Hill Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
