Jennie M. Chalupa, age 96 years, of Flemington, NJ, died on Tuesday, September 4, 2012, in Independence Manor, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born in Hoboken, NJ, December 27, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Antonia Orazem Ogrinz. She had resided in New Jersey and Florida.
She was a former dietician at the Edna Mahon Correctional Facility, Clinton, NJ.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, Frank Chalupa, and by a sister, Mary Grill, and a brother, Peter Ogrinz. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Robert Clerico of Hillsborough, NJ; two sons and daughters-in-law, William and Barbara Chalupa of Malvern, PA, and James and Sheri Chalupa of Ringoes, NJ; two brothers, Gabriel Ogrinz of Port Clinton, OH, and Emil Ogrinz of Sussex, NJ; two sisters, Vicky Border of Lebanon, MO, and Martha Grill of Succasunna, NJ; four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:30 AM in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Summer Road, Three Bridges, NJ. Interment will be private. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
