Jerome S. "Jerry" Bender

Jerome S. "Jerry" Bender, age 72 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Thursday, June 19, 2008, at his residence.

Born in Perth Amboy, NJ, October 14, 1935, he was the son of the late Abram and Sadye Lustbader Bender and had resided in the Raritan Township area most of his life.

A graduate of the University of Connecticut, Mr. Bender was a Sales Representative for the Henry Schein Company. Additionally, he was a former member of the United States Air Force National Guard.

Surviving are two sons; Scott Bender of New York City, NY, and Adam Bender of West Bloomfield, MI; a brother, Ike Bender of Highland Park, IL; and a granddaughter, Madeline Bender.

Funeral Services will take place Sunday at 11:30 a.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in the Flemington Jewish Community Center Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. There are no calling hours.
