Jessica Ann Tosco

Jessica Ann Tosco, age 27 years, passed away on August 24, 2016 at the University Hospital in Newark NJ. Born May 13, 1989, in Flemington NJ, she was the beloved daughter of Karen and Thomas Tosco of Raritan Township NJ. Jessica was a resident of Flemington her entire life. A graduate of Hunterdon Central Regional High School in the Class of 2007, she attended Hunterdon County Polytech. Then she received her license in Cosmetology and later attended Raritan Valley Community College, where she pursued an Associate Degree in Business. Jessica has been working as a Hair Stylist for Supercuts in Pennington NJ, and was highly regarded based on her skills. Jessica loved meeting new people, listening to many forms of music, and travelling, especially to urban settings like New York City, Philadelphia, and Atlantic City. She spent many days at the Jersey Shore, but most of all, loved spending time with friends and family. Jessica truly enjoyed life and was blessed with a large giving heart, benefitting others. Predeceased by her grandfathers, Frank Foderaro in 1986, and John C. Tosco, Sr. in 1990, as well as her cousin, Ryan Goldt in 2011; Jessica is survived by her mother and father, Karen Tosco and Thomas Tosco, and her beloved sister, Rebecca Tosco, all of Raritan Township NJ. She is also survived by her grandmothers, Josephine Foderaro of Flemington, Jane Ann Tosco of Hampton NJ, Uncle and Aunt, John C. and Barbara Tosco of Hampton NJ, Aunt and Uncle, Laura and George Guarino of Belvidere NJ. In addition to her cousins, Matt Goldt, Stephen and John C. Tosco III, she is survived by the large extended families of the Tosco, Foderaro and Scannicchio families. Jessica had a very special friend, Jamie Bassett, whom she loved very much, and her special pet, Molly. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, August 31, at St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ. Cremation will follow privately. Visitation will be on Tuesday, from 1 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 9 p.m at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Jessica’s last gift to benefit others was to donate her vital organs so that others can live.
