Joan B. Walsh

Joan B. Walsh, age 86 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Saturday, May 28, 2011 in the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Manhattan, NY, June 18, 1924, daughter of the late Harry John and Mary Elizabeth Bannigan Walsh, she had resided in the Hunterdon County, NJ area since 1980.

She was formerly involved in Personnel Administration with the State of New Jersey, Department of Community Affairs and with the Division on Aging.

Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Gerard and Jacque Walsh of North Little Rock, AR; two grandchildren, Robbin Walsh and John and wife Rachelle Walsh; a sister, Ann Simons of Auburn, MI; and her dear friends from the Volunteer Guardianship 1 on 1 Program of Hunterdon County.
