Joan Franklin

Joan L. Franklin, age 68 years, of Flemington, NJ, died on Monday, Febrauary 6, 2006, in the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Three Bridges, NJ, December 13, 1937, she was the daughter of the late John B. and Katherine McPherson Rockafellow.

She was a 1955 graduate of Flemington High School.

She was formerly employed at the Hunterdon County Board of Social Services.

She enjoyed traveling, loved animals, and was an avid bowler.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Franklin; a sister and brother-in-law, Norma and John Jones, of Seffner, FL; and a brother and sister-in-law, John and Jennifer Rockafellow, of Dunellen, NJ. A sister, Shirley Rockafellow, died earlier.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 11 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 7-9 PM in the funeral home.
