Joan M. Landgraf, age 73 years, of Delaware Township, NJ, died on Monday, June 6, 2005 at her residence.
Born in Wyckoff, NJ October 20, 1931, daughter of the late George and Elizabeth Nelius Henkel, she had resided in Lebanon Township, NJ for thirty-two years, then in Lake Placid, FL for fifteen years and in Delaware Township four years.
A graduate of Douglass College, New Brunswick, NJ, Mrs. Landgraf was formerly a teacher in the Lebanon Township Schools, Lebanon Township, NJ for twenty-five years. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Flemington, NJ, the NJ Education Association and the Family Motor Coach Association of NJ.
Her husband of fifty-one years, Robert T. Landgraf, died in April 2005. Surviving are three daughters, Barbara Swetits of Union Township, NJ, Carol Kostelansky of Delaware Township, NJ and Nancy Ratay of Indiana, PA; two sisters, Carol Lee Scherb of Toms River, NJ and Beth Friemanis of Florscheim, Germany; eight grandchildren; and one great granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in St. Paul Lutheran Church, 201 Highway 31, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, l47 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
