Joan Marie Vecchio

Joan Marie Vecchio, age 82 years, of Lopatcong Township, NJ, died Friday, May 10, 2019, at Brakeley Park Center, Lopatcong Township, NJ. Born in Morristown, NJ, August 17, 1936, daughter of the late Robert D. and Evelyn Vanmiddlesworth Morris, she had formerly resided in the Flemington, NJ area most of her life until moving to Marshall’s Creek, PA. 1992-2002. She then returned to Flemington and later resided in Warren County, NJ. Joan was a 1954 graduate of Flemington High School and was formerly a telephone operator with NJ Telephone Co., Flemington, NJ. She later was a bartender at the Union Hotel, Flemington and finally was employed by Wald Drugs, Flemington. Joan was pre-deceased by a grandson, Guy William Johnson in 2016, a daughter, Donna Marie Cole Johnson in 2018 and her sister, Elizabeth “Bea” Londino in 2017. Surviving are three children, Gale Elizabeth “Libby” Kelly and her husband, Mik, of Bordentown, NJ, Michael P. Vecchio and Michyll, of Flemington, NJ, and Kris Jacobs and her husband, Lance, of Stewartsville, NJ; and five grandchildren, Hunter Johnson, Lauren Kelly, Jack Kelly, Peyton Maxcy and Kylie Jacobs.
